20. Does E10 petrol it relate to diesel fuel in any way?No, it doesn't. In the diesel fuel on the market, the bio component mainly consists of hydrogenated vegetable oil, or animal fat, refined in a domestic refinery from renewable raw materials. There's no fixed maximum for the percentage of this bio component because its chemical composition corresponds to that of normal diesel fuel, so there are no suitability issues on these grounds. There may also be such diesel fuel on the markets where the bio component consists of so-called first-generation biodiesel (FAME), which is limited to 7 per cent by volume. |
